To Improve His Skills, This Guy Made New Art Every Day For 10 Years

Mike Winkelmann is an artist working across a variety of media. According to him, some of the work is alright, and the rest is junk.

Discontent with his skill level, Winkelmann began making a new piece of art every day. He's now been at it for 3,967 days– that's over 10 years.

That's a lot of art. And frankly, after looking through his stuff, we're still scratching our heads over his claims to making shit work.

This stuff is good. And not only is it technically good, it's interesting and very weird. We're not the only ones who think so. These days, Winkelmann is releasing live visuals that are used by electronic acts like deadmau5, Taio Cruz, Tiësto, Amon Tobin, Wolfgang Gartner, Flying Lotus and many others

We can't say for certain, but surely Winkelmann must have done a lot of drugs as a young man (or still does), because this stuff is wild.

Follow his work on his Beeple Crap website.
