This 94-Year-Old Church Was Transformed Into A Luxury Home

DAHA converted this old church into a luxury home that would turn even the most pious monk green with jealousy.

Located in Brisbane, Australia, the ‘Church House’ is a two-story architectural wonder featuring a pool, tennis court, whiskey bar, subterranean garage and tunnels system. The views are spectacular and the house even comes complete with an upper-level bridge which connects the modern section with the old church.

The actual church is listed in the local heritage registry as "The Church of Transfiguration". It dates back to 1924, creating a fascinating contrast of old and new.

Learn more about the ‘Church House’ here on the DAHA website.
