This Portable House Self-Assembles In Just 10 Minutes

This self-building house prototype makes nomadic living swankier than ever. Simply choose your dream location, park your house, and watch it unfold.

Within 10 minutes, the house expands to more than 5x its folded size!

This concept was developed by Ten Fold Engineering, a technology company that specializes in expanding structures. This is agile building at its most precise.

Each unit is self-unloading, and self-assembling. They're also extremely compact, giving you plenty of transportation options. Trailers and trains are likely the most common option. But if you're looking for off-the-grid options, Ten Fold units can be carried on the deck of a ship or via helicopter.

Interested in other models? The video above displays the only current prototype. But Ten Fold has several other concepts in mind like beach shacks, RVs, and treehouses.

Check out Ten Fold's website for more information about release dates and how to order your own self-assembling unit.
