Weather Vs Climate Change, What's The Difference?

This is Neil deGrasse Tyson, he's a noted American astrophysicist, popular author, noted science communicator and a man who loves a good tie.

In the following clip, he breaks down the tangible differences between the weather and the climate - all too often people confuse the two.

There's no scientific jargon or tedious rants, he speaks with clarity and common sense making his message easy for just about anyone to understand and grasp.

And on the subject of climate change, scientific predictions and the reality of global warming, he answers that eternal question which we've all asked ourselves as some point...

Whichever side of the climate debate you're on, whether you're a believer or a skeptic, being aware of the views of both sides, allows us all to make better and more informed choices.

That's a good thing.
