Exotic Animals Run Wild At Your Local Supermarket

Exotic Animals Run Wild At Your Local Supermarket

Remember the 90's movie Jumanji, where hundreds of animals were brought to life and started appearing in shopping malls, kitchens and highways? A cool concept, but at the time the effects used in the film didn't seem overly realistic.

Enter visual artist Agan Harahap, who's magnificent Photoshop skills have successfully placed a new wave of exotic animals, casually strolling around the local supermarket. He's called the series 'Garden Fresh' stating:

This series investigates the shifting boundaries between humans and animals in today’s environment and the complex relationship between art and nature. It is like a fable about a journey undertaken by the animals when they venture into our daily lives. The animals are confronted by a new reality that is in conflict with their natural habits and habitats.

How would you react if you came face to face with a tiger in the poultry section? Personally, we'd be thinking we're on the menu not the chicken....

You can see more of Harahap's vibrant, creative and colourful photo manipulations via his official Behance profile - these glorious images are merely a hint of what he's capable of.
