These detailed miniatures recreate night scenes from the streets of Taiwan.

Built by Joshua Smith, the shuttered shops are exact replicas of the real deal, only built on a 1:20 scale. The South Australia-based artist shows an incredible attention to detail in these micro-scenes. Even the original graffiti is recreated to scale.

"His miniature works primarily focus on the often overlooked aspects of the urban environment such as grime, rust, decay to discarded cigarettes and graffiti perfectly recreated in 1:20 scale miniatures," reads Smith's artist biography.

"Despite his relatively short career in this new direction his work has already been showcased in galleries and art fairs in London, Paris, Berlin, New York, Sydney and Melbourne."
