Incredible Origami From A Vietnamese Paper Master

Nguyen Hung Cuong is a Vietnamese paper artist with a knack for incredibly detailed origami work.

No wonder his work is so impressive! Cuong has been folding since he was just 5 years old.

In addition to using basic origami paper, Cuong also incorporates Vietnamese handmade paper called Dó.

You'll spot all kinds of animals and intricate flowers in Cuong's work: screaming gorillas, sharks with individual gills, and even a scorpion battling a snake.

His latest work features a hand holding up a small boy who also is holding an origami crane.

“I created this work to show my deep gratitude to origami community,” Cuong says of his latest piece. “The boy is myself, and the hand represents all origami creators who inspired me, making my dream come true.”
