Callum Donovan Grujicich is a 12-year-old Canadian artist with a terrifying taste in multi-media sculpture.

Callums's dolls look like pieces from a horror film set.

Heavily influenced by the drama of theater and a healthy appetite for literature, this young artist's work is both whimsical and dark. His dolls could be at home in a Tim Burton film, don't you think?

Like a Frankenstein, Callum's creations are made from whatever objects he finds on hand– paper, clay, wire, paint, forks, and scrap metal. Not only is each doll built from scratch by the aspiring artist, but all clothes are hand sewn by him as well.

No surprises here. Callum's been doing this for quite some time.

"From about the time he was learning to walk, Callum showed a strong inclination towards expressing himself through art, preferably in three dimensions," reads his artist's bio.

"An intuitive artist, Callum says he creates the images that come into his head, though the recurrent themes of identity and duality can be observed in much of his work."

And what does this young prodigy hope to become?

"When he grows up, Callum aspires to become a professional artist, perhaps expanding into theatre and film design."

Find Callum's work on Instagram or his website.
