Artist Transforms This Abandoned French Chateau Into A Colorful Graffiti Paradise

Street artist Okuda San Miguel is at it again with his massive and beautiful geometric murals.

This time, he's transformed an abandoned French chateau into a wonder of geometric patterns and hidden skull murals. He's calling this one Skull in the Mirror and if you look closely at the rainbow shapes painted on mirroring left and right sides, you'll understand why.

Okuda is well known for his immersive artwork that transforms unused spaces into jaw-dropping examples of large-scale graffiti havens. You've spotted his work here at the skate park church or perhaps the Church of Cannabis. All bear the trademark colour palette of bright rainbow shades and clean, graphic shapes.

Skull in the Mirror was created as part of Urban Paris' LaBel Valette Festival in Presigny-les-Pins which saw 100 artists creating interventions inside the castle.

“In this more mature period of my career, to travel and transform space around the world is one of my major sources of inspiration,” says Okuda of the piece. “The feedback with other cultures has made me feel alive, which is reflected in my creations, which always have a positive outlook."

You can follow Okuda's work on Instagram.
