Epic Collection Of 'Game Of Thrones' Moments Instagrammed In Their Original Location

Tiia Ohman and Satu Walden are two are travel bloggers from Finland who travel the world tracking down movie and TV show locations. They call their project Fan Girl Quest and the recent Game of Thrones series has been catching the internet's attention.

So far, the GOT series has taken them to North Ireland and Iceland and the photos don't disappoint. The landscapes are stunning and spotting a GOT scene on an iPad surrounded by its actual location is extremely satisfying.

What's involved in finding these filming locations?

"The locations for popular shows and movies are usually well documented online, since we're definitely not the only ones doing the film tourism thing," Ohman and Walden say.

"Sometimes — like with the Hannibal locations in Florence — we have to be real Sherlocks about it."   "We keep an eye on recognisable buildings and shapes, sceneries, street signs and then use things like Google street view and aerial shots to track them down."

Follow Fan Girl Quest on Instagram and keep your eyes pealed for locations in Spain, Croatia, Morroco, and Malta next.
