Two Anonymous Students Sneak Into Classrooms And Leave Stunning Chalkboard Designs Behind

This incredible chalkboard series started as a way for two Advertising & Graphic Design students to blow off steam during late studio nights sessions. It was their senior year of college and the stakes were high.

Going by the name Dangerdust, this duo created the series totally anonymously, sneaking into classrooms in the middle of the night and leaving their mark. Mostly they illustrated quotes, doing their best to adopt the visual style of whoever they were quoting.

After they finished their night run, these sneaky artists would photograph their masterpieces and leave them behind. The boards would, of course, be discovered in the morning, and it wasn't long before fellow students and professors began to catch on. These "anonymous" artists couldn't actually stay anonymous for long.

Thankfully everyone loved the work and the duo even found an envelope tucked into their Peter Pan piece with tip money in it!

So what's Dangerdust up to these days? The students have graduated and moved on to bigger things, but their stunning 24-week chalkboard series still inspires. Follow Dangerdust's chalk work on Behance.
