This Origami Pineapple Is A Playful Ode To English Garden Houses

Look! Look! Look! is an origami pavilion design by Studio Morison that puts a playful twist on 18th-century English garden houses.

Located in Hereforshire, England, the cheerful pink structure is the result of over a year's worth of research and planning. The design is a modern tribute to the garden house trend of the Georgian era.

What better way to show off your Georgian wealth than to model your garden pavilion after an exotic fruit?

The structure was designed by first creating a small, origami paper model. The final product was built using timber for the structure, sunken metal for the anchors, and a weatherproof cover.

Look! Look! Look! was created for the National Trust's Trust New Art initiative which places emerging artist's work in historic settings.
