Reddit Is Collecting Locations Around The World That Look Just Like A Wes Anderson Movie

Wes Anderson's aesthetic is easily recognisable. If you've seen any of his movies, you can probably spot the style: it's the look of a carefully organised storybook.

It's been almost 20 years since Anderson's first full-length film, Rushmore, and since then his visual style has become iconic. And as a tribute to his work, the good folks of Reddit have even started a subreddit dedicated to locations around the world that look like a Wes Anderson movie set.

It's called Accidental Wes Anderson and it's guaranteed to satisfy all your carefully curated aesthetic needs.

Several of the locations are expected: cute towns in Italy, pastel hotels in the Czech Republic. Others are less so; users have spotted locations in Mexico, Japan, Korea, and even Florida. The series is proof that you can find inspiration and beauty anywhere— you just have to look for it!

You can follow the series here on Reddit. Have a location of your own? Add it to the series!
