This Is What Happens When The NYC Subway Bans Dogs Unless They Fit In Bags

The New York's Metropolitan Transit Authority allows pups to ride on the train under one condition - they must fit into their own bag.

For those who don't own a chihuahua, this can be a problem. How are you supposed to bring your border collie all the way uptown if they have to fit in a purse?

That's precisely where this collection of New Yorkers found their opportunity. In order to make their dogs subway ready, these crafty humans invented special "bags" to carry their pups across town on the train.

Now here's the thing: the MTA never specified how big the dog could be. They only mentioned the bag rule.

The bag situations are pure genius and our favorite is definitely the IKEA model, although the duffel bags are pretty hilarious too. Bravo, New York. Bravo.
