This Street Artist Changed A Crosswalk Button In A Really Awesome Way

Street artist Alfredo Adán is kindly treating the pedestrians of Los Angeles to a friendly fist bump every time they need to cross the street.

Using some heavy duty glue and a custom giant yellow fist, Adán gave his targeted crosswalk button a little extra swagger. It's great to see a street artist using their disruptive power for good don't you think?

The best part about this piece is people's reactions to it. At first a little confusing, it forces people to slow down and rethink their environment.

Everyone seems to be smiling and excited once they figure out how to use the new, upgraded crosswalk button!

This piece reminds me of these amazing German crosswalk buttons that let pedestrians play a friendly game of pong while they wait for their turn to cross.

It's nice to have your daily routine mixed up in a positive way.
