Switzerland is famous for its chocolate, cuckoo clocks, secretive banking system, ski slopes and finely crafted watches.

Speaking of powdery white slopes, it's also now one of the biggest consumers of cocaine per capita in the world.

That surprising little fact (which is left out of the popular tourist guides) inspired Swiss artist Onur Dinc to use the drug in one of his recent artworks titled 'Snowing in Zürich'.

Using a combination of white and blue acrylic paints, he added a packet of pure cocaine into the mix. He then used this mixture to recreate the snow on the rooftops of his dream-like landscape of the Swiss city Zürich.

I wanted to paint a very prude artwork which looks like a master piece which you could find at your grandmother’s living room. The work gets its message only if you know what I mixed into the colour.

This is how it is in real life. At the first glance Zürich looks very lovely and almost perfect. But at second one you will find out that not all is gold that glitters.

Onur’s work is is now on display at SOON Gallery in Bern in Switzerland. Just make sure you don't tell the police.
