Deceptive Fast Food Advertisements vs Reality

Deceptive Fast Food Advertisements vs Reality

There's no greater example of this, than junk food advertisements - time and again, what you see on the menu boards, bus stops, billboards and TV commercials is rarely what you actually end up with. Then again, there's an argument that goes if you're paying $2.99 what do you expect?

All of the major fast-food chains have teams of food stylists (they actually paint the food), designers & photographers all working hard to create the perfect illusionary meal, created to lure you towards the counter.

A lot of time, planning and constant editing, re-lighting, re-positioning takes place to make the food look as mouth-watering as it can possibly be. You sell the sizzle, not the steak as the saying goes.

But the truth is, it's all one giant deception, the perfect example of false advertising. Don't believe us? Here's a look at fast food advertisements vs the actual reality of your purchase.
