We love how Brazilian illustrator Butcher Billy has taken some of the world’s most infamous bad boys and recreated them as comic book villains – seems rather apt really doesn’t it? Charles Manson is brilliantly morphed into The Joker whilst George W. Bush is given the timely persona of Two-Face. But it doesn’t stop there, Butcher has added the likes of Hitler, Stalin and even Mark Zuckerberg to the mix. They’re all part of his awesome series The Legion of Real Life Supervillains – make sure you check it out here
From the artist:
This series is an experiment where a dictator, a psycho, a murderer (sometimes they are the whole package) or even a suspicious figure from real life is mashed with a comics bad guy – strangely related some way or the other with his counterpart. The depressing thing? Realizing that if the comic book supervillains were actually the ones threatening real life, the world wouldn’t be such a bad place.
You can get your hands on various prints, apparel and even iPhone cases via his online store – so what are you waiting for?
