We’re a wee bit jealous of the adults (yes they’re actually grown-ups!) featured in these fantastic portraits which Cristian Girotto has delightfully manipulated. It was his original idea, art direction and retouching that has led to the creation of the series the “Child Outside”.
Firstly his friend Quentin Curtat captured these hilarious photographs and then soon after Cristian worked his magic – bringing out the child-like personality and characteristics in each of the individuals they photographed. When it comes to his inspiration, Cristian had this to say:
We can certainly agree that, somewhere inside each of us, there’s a young core, instinctive, creative but also innocent and naïve. What would happen if this intimate essence would be completely revealed?
