Here’s something that is sure going to impress your house guests – an apartment that automatically converts itself into 4 entirely different spaces.
After being inspired by the pulleys, leavers and counterweights used on big stage productions – Simon Woodroffe set out to create an environment where space was maximized and elements hidden. The end result is the creative concept of the YO! Home, 80msq in total but able to transform itself into a lounge, kitchen, bedroom, office, guest room, study & even house two cinemas.
The video below reveals how it’s done, but probably the most impressive feature of all is the ‘elevator bed’. Press a simple button and watch as the bed effortlessly glides down from the celling & slots into position, leaving every house guest to pick their jaw up off the flaw.
