These Photos Will Make You Question Who You Are

Everyone has a good and bad side, not only to their personality but also appearance.

Shocking as it may seem but your face isn’t symmetrical, both sides are entirely different (as you’re about to see.) There’s also been popular myth (largely perpetuated by the media) that symmetrical faces are more appealing, more welcoming and thus more attractive.

Is that truly the case though?

Well, Julian Wolkenstein has taken on the challenge of answering this question in his remarkable new photographic series.

“Part of my project has been to de-bunk the myth that symmetrical people are therefore better looking. Some of the symmetrical images don’t look attractive at all.”

Julian Each of the subjects were individually selected for their interesting and noticeable features, although each was asked to remain emotionless during the shoot.

To that end,  Julian has worked tirelessly in putting together a rather awesome app called Echoism (available for iPhone & iPad) that allows you to upload your photo and have it sliced into a perfect line of symmetry – so make sure you download it and give it a whirl.
