We’ve previously featured the weird & wonderful work of Japanese photographer Hal in our Peculiar Portraits Of Japanese Lovers Sealed In Plastic article.
But interestingly enough, prior to that he was the orchestrator of a different series whereby he photographed Tokyo clubbers jammed into their own bathtubs. Apparently he constantly found it hard to get a good shot in amongst the strobe lights and dark corners of Tokyo’s underground dance venues – so instead he went to the subjects houses after their night out and took the shots in the own personal bathrooms.
The resulting photos most certainly kooky but you have to admit, it looks like everyone was having a blast. Just another night out in crazy madness that is Tokyo.
