What did you want to be when you were growing up? The chances are that for a split second or maybe even for a day, you wanted to become an astronaut. There’s something quite aspirational about wanting a job that involves you actually leaving planet Earth in search of the unknown don’t you think?
Graziano Panfili is an Italian photographer who’s exploring that trait of unfulfilled dreams in his latest series titled ‘Alienation’. He effortlessly captures these quite magnificent portraits of every day individuals, and in doing so highlights a common (if little spoken) admission, that many of us are still waiting for a our dreams to take off - just like the astronauts in his stunning photographs.
