If only there were more people putting art into the world like underground art collective group Kut.
Based in Latvia, the group is comprised of musicians, artists, filmmakers, politicians & cats – which lets face it, makes them sound like quite an interesting bunch. Recently they decided to change the weather in the city of Riga (literally) & record the reactions of those affected by the sudden change in environment.
We brought the country to the city. To revive the grey concrete, to break the routine and give you a moment to reflect on what we are and where we are going. Sometimes surprises just happen and we have no influence over them but we do have influence over our perception. How ready are you to accept whatever life throws at you with a smile?
The project was called Oh Joy! and for the most part, it seemed the general public was genuinely having fun during the random and certainly unexpected events that unfolded….
