As young kids, I’m sure many of us were afraid of the dark, of that imaginary monster under the bed waiting to eat us….
(Admittedly watching this movie didn’t help…)
But inevitably there was always a familiar toy or teddy bear close at hand to give us that extra bit of comfort as we slowly fell asleep.
Which is precisely why we wouldn’t recommend the following 13 (it’s an unlucky number after all) toys to cuddle up to in the dark – they are all pretty much guaranteed to give kids (and probably a few adults) countless nightmares, night terrors and cold sweats.
