You cannot help but admire the sheer genius and dedication on display in the work of Henrique Oliveira he’s the artist behind the simply mind-blowing tree sculptures that burst through walls.
Using timber he’s salvaged from the streets of his home town of São Paulo, Henrique selects sections of wood that are already degraded, to represent the decay of city life in his hometown.
These ginormous tree trunks then twist, warp, burst and through the walls, corners and crevices in art galleries around the world.
We’re sure you’ll agree, the end result is extraordinary!
