Whilst traveling through the wonders of China, photographer Jasper James showcases different side to his travels with a grace and elegance few photographers can match. All too often, holiday photos are awash with stock standard shots of urban life – but not so with Jasper.
He blends two themes, the viewer high above and the cityscape stretched out below them, merging them in a fusion of light, silhouette and reflection. As you’re about to see, the technique is breath-taking in its simplicity, instantly bringing a calmness and sense of serenity to the scene.
One can only hope he goes on another holiday soon and shares more of his talent with us.
