Everyone loves the bad guy right?
Darth Vader, Jason Voorhee & Freddy Krueger are some of the most iconic evil villans of all time- their heyday being back in the 80s. Visionary Italian photographer Federico Chiesa poses the question though, what would these masterminds of evil deeds be like these days, 30 years after their prime? From his days running around the Death Star, surely Darth Vader would be taking it easy in a nursing home these days?
More than likely!
So with the help of makeup & special effects artist Carolina Trotta, he set about composing a series of images titled “Horror Vacui” (latin for “fear of empty space“) recreating that very concept.
