Carving a Jack-O-Latern from a pumpkin is pretty much mandatory on Halloween wherever you are in the world. Never before will so many pumpkins grace so many households on the same day.

It can be a lot fun too, especially if you like getting messy.

There are those people though, who take a black marker pen and draw on a face on the pumpkins itself, which lets face it – is pretty half-arsed! On the other end of the spectrum stands the incredibly talented Ray Villafane (who’s world-renowned for his sand sculpting) who through sheer time, talent and dedication transforms the humble pumpkin into a creepy and at times disturbing evil spirit.

Let’s face it, the last thing you would want is to come home in the dark and find one of these waiting for you on the doorstep!
